Orsha Linen Mill proposes to open its own production in Russia
A range of issues concerning cooperation in the sphere of partnership and promotion of own products in the Russian Federation market were discussed at the V Eurasian Economic Forum by a delegation from Bellegprom with representatives of Orenburg business circles. The products of Orsha Linen Mill aroused particular interest among the Russians. Their presentation took place within the framework of the forum, and afterwards, representatives of the Orenburg region visited Orsha and the mill itself to get acquainted with the production and outline further joint steps. Inter-industry cooperation, import substitution, and experience exchange in technological and scientific spheres were at the forefront. The global trend of relocating large-scale clothing and home textile manufacturing to Southeast Asia has led to job losses and a decline in foreign exchange earnings. Therefore, the two neighboring countries are extremely interested in ensuring that the entire process takes place within the Eurasian Economic Space. "Currently, we are striving for the active development of the textile industry, and we propose opening our own garment production in Russia," emphasize the marketers of the linen mill. "This will lead to the import substitution program being implemented not in words, but in deeds."
