Orsha Linen Mill Awarded the "Silver Phoenix" by Vyacheslav Zaitsev
The delegation of Orsha Linen Mill returned from the 10th anniversary festival "Ples on the Volga. Linen Palette" with the "Silver Phoenix" commemorative sign, a diploma, and a letter of appreciation.
This year, fashion designers from 8 regions of Russia and Belarus presented their collections in Ples, Ivanovo, at the fashion festival, whose permanent president is Vyacheslav Zaitsev. The festival was held under the motto "AVE MODA". It began with competitions of children's fashion theaters, exhibitions "Shuya Colors in the Linen Palette", "Color Sculpture. The Art of Natella Toidze", "Artist I. Levitan's Workshop" and concluded with a grand podium presentation of the creative works of the great Russian couturier Vyacheslav Zaitsev and other renowned designers from Russia and Belarus, winners of past competition programs.
Among them is Tamara Volodko, the leading fashion designer and constructor of Orsha Linen Mill. The highlight of her current collection, titled "Colored Geometry," was footwear made of linen, developed and manufactured in collaboration with designers from SOOO "Belwest." The Orsha designer demonstrated the potential to expand the scope of linen fabric application in clothing seasonality. Academicians, fashion experts from Russia, and numerous festival guests were able to appreciate summer dresses, sundresses, as well as spring-autumn coats made of voluminous jacquard, and business suits made of innovative fabrics. It is noteworthy that this year, the designers of Orsha Linen Mill also worked intensively on accessories. Neck scarves, belts, and hats also added color to an already vibrant and interesting collection, which received the highest expert evaluation. "The festival in Ples is not only a platform for showcasing fashionable linen clothing and exchanging experience, but also a platform for promoting these products to the market, unlocking the potential of designers, and an opportunity to establish interregional ties," said Tamara Vladimirovna. For the high professional level of the presented works, contributing to the enrichment of the festival's ideas and its establishment as a significant fashion event in the cultural life of Russia, designer Tamara V
Volodko was presented with a Letter of Gratitude from the organizers and the president of the festival. Vyacheslav Zaitsev noted that for 10 years, the Orsha Linen Mill has been a permanent participant in the renowned fashion festival, contributing to its popularization and development. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the director general of the linen mill, Vladimir Nesterenko, was awarded the "Silver Phoenix" order.
