Orsha Linen Mill to supply fabrics to India for the first time

Orsha Linen Mill to Supply Fabrics to India for the First Time. As reported by Dmitry Muravyov, Deputy General Director for Commercial Affairs of RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill", a trial batch of products will be sent to the new market in the near future.

"We have signed a major contract with an Indian textile company engaged in wholesale and retail trade. Their product range includes fabrics from almost all over the world," said Dmitry Muravyov. "The negotiations were lengthy, and we took into account all the partners' requirements. An agreement has been reached that the Indian company will purchase products from us for $1 million. We are currently working on the implementation of the plan. Representatives of the foreign company have already visited the linen mill, a trial batch has been formed, and in the near future, a shipment worth $59,000 will be sent to South Asia. Prior to this, products from the linen mill had never been supplied to India."

The Deputy General Director noted that the enterprise is actively working to find new markets and expand its presence in already established ones. For example, last year the geography of export supplies expanded to several more countries – the first batches of Orsha linen were shipped to Tunisia, Morocco, New Zealand, and South Africa. In addition, direct supplies of finished products to the PRC have been organized. Currently, Orsha Linen Mill exports more than 80% of its shipped products. Sales are conducted in 36 countries worldwide.
