Orsha's "Manuli Hydraulics" expands its supply geography. Six months after launch, production capacity has been reached here

Since the launch of the plant in Orsha and the first shipments in February 2015, up to October of the current year inclusive, the enterprise has exported products worth over $10 million. Currently, about 95% of the goods are sent to Germany and France.

– Large logistics centers are located there, from where products are distributed in small batches throughout Europe. Last month, the first batches under long-term contracts were shipped to customers from Finland and South Africa. We are currently processing documents for sending a truck to the Netherlands, I think we will realize it in December. And we are working on the logistics of supplies to South America and Australia. It is important that after transportation costs, our product remains competitive in price. The quality suits potential buyers, – emphasized the director of the joint Belarusian-Italian enterprise Andrey Ivanyuk.

The demand for Orsha high-pressure hoses of single-braid and double-braid designs is explained by the fact that this component is necessary in the production of any equipment involving hydraulics: road construction, mining, agricultural. That is, there is also demand for this import-substituting product in the domestic market: contracts have already been signed with OJSC "MTZ", OJSC "Belaruskali", and several important contracts with other residents of Belarus are expected to be signed in the near future. Among the promising clients of "Manuli Hydraulics" in our country are OJSC "BelAZ", UP "Vitstroytekhmash", OJSC "Belagromash".

A total of 82 thousand meters of high-pressure hoses were shipped to domestic consumers in August-October this year. Meanwhile, six months after the plant was launched, we reached a production capacity of about 400 thousand linear meters per month, – explained Andrey Ivanyuk.

Despite the fact that the enterprise is quite new, the production park continues to develop. In October, the De Angelo braiding machine, which allows producing hoses of size DN 25, and a line for manufacturing cores were put into operation. In the near future, the company will purchase new equipment for the production of rubber strips. All this will open up new prospects and create a good basis for increasing the profitability of the enterprise.

SOOO "Manuli Hydraulics Manufacturing Bel" was formed as a result of signing an investment agreement between the Ministry of Industry of Belarus and Manuli Rubber Industries S.p.A., OJSC "BMZ - management company of the holding "BMK", OJSC "Zavod "Legmash". More than 16.5 million euros were invested in the creation of the production.
