The Orsha region must become a self-sufficient region - Nikolai Sherstnev
According to Nikolai Sherstnev, every manager must draw conclusions from the current situation in the Orsha district and seriously get down to business in their place. Initiative from them is important, and labor collectives need to be actively involved.
"The Orsha district must become a self-sufficient region, form a budget, and bring money into the regional budget, which could be directed to the development of other weak districts, because its land potential and natural and climatic conditions are incomparable with the Ushachi or Rossony districts," the governor emphasized.
"We know the numbers: the Orsha district has 62 thousand employable citizens, which is comparable to ten districts of the Vitebsk region. Its subsidies are proportional accordingly. That is why such attention is paid to this region," the head of the region noted.
By the поручение of the head of state, a working group for the comprehensive development of the Orsha district was formed in the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. "From tomorrow, we will start working together," said Nikolai Sherstnev. "It is necessary to understand that if it is not possible to create a proper economy and establish order independently, it must be done together. The problem has not grown in one year, but we know what to do. Everything is fixable, and order will be established," the governor added, addressing the active members of the Orsha district.
Touching upon the work of Igor Isachenko, the chairman of the regional executive committee emphasized that first of all, it is necessary to deal with the budget, costs and prime cost of manufactured products, the construction sector and management in the industrial complex. "A completely new approach is needed, only then can we create conditions for the development of the economy of enterprises and the social sphere of the district," he is convinced.
According to Igor Isachenko, the first goals for the next three days will be determined today. Active work on each
the enterprise, where pain points were identified, will be launched in the coming days. "I have been given special trust, and I will justify it. We will work together and accomplish the set tasks," emphasized the Chairman of the Orsha District Executive Committee.Igor Vladimirovich Isachenko was born in Liozno, Vitebsk region. He graduated from the S.M. Kirov Kyiv Higher Anti-Aircraft Missile Engineering School and served in the Armed Forces of Belarus from 1991 to 1999. Since 1999, he held various leadership positions at the enterprise "Vitebskoblgaz", then for five years he was the General Director of "Vitebskoblvodo canal". Since January 2014, he worked as the Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Yesterday, at an extraordinary session, his
candidacy was approved by the deputy corps of the Orsha district.
