Orsha Machine Tool Plant "Krasny Borets" has been transformed into an open joint-stock company

Orsha Machine-Tool Plant "Krasny Borets" has been transformed into a joint-stock company, Svetlana Lukashevich, Deputy Director of the Vitebsk Territorial Fund "Vitebskoblimushchestvo", told a BELTA correspondent. In accordance with the law "On Denationalization and Privatization of State Property in the Republic of Belarus", by the decision of the board of "Vitebskoblimushchestvo", the open joint-stock company "Orsha Machine-Tool Plant "Krasny Borets" was established by transforming the republican unitary production enterprise "Orsha Order of the Red Banner of Labor Machine-Tool Plant "Krasny Borets". The authorized capital is approved in the amount of Br34,377,816,000, with 781,314 ordinary shares issued at a nominal value of Br44 thousand each. The "Krasny Borets" machine-tool plant was included in the privatization plan of facilities in republican ownership for 2008-2010. The republican unitary production enterprise "Vitebsky Rassvet", which has also been corporatized, is included in the same plan. The authorized capital of OJSC "Vitebsky Rassvet" is formed in the amount of Br1,132,252,000, with 257,330 ordinary shares issued at a nominal value of Br4.4 thousand. More than 20 enterprises located in the Vitebsk region were included in the privatization plan of republican property facilities in 2010. These include republican unitary enterprises "Novopolotskzhilezobeton", "VISTAN", "Orsha Tool Plant", "Novopolotsk Plant of Protein-Vitamin Concentrates", "Display Design Bureau", "BelVitunipharm", and several large agricultural enterprises.
