Orsha Machine-Tool Plant "Krasny Borrets" will develop equipment for Russia's aviation complex

RUPP "Stankozavod" Krasny Bor" (Orsha) will develop equipment for the Russian aviation complex, the deputy chief engineer of the enterprise Viktor Vilichko told a BELTA correspondent. A six-coordinate CNC profile grinding machine will be designed for processing nozzle blades of gas turbine engines for aircraft. Its cost, according to preliminary data, will be about 400 thousand euros. Currently, the enterprise is coordinating the technical parameters and the task for the equipment with the customers. All necessary documentation is planned to be developed in the second half of the year, and the order is to be completed within 2011. Vitaly Velichko also noted that this year, under the enterprise's innovation development program, the machine-tool plant plans to develop a CNC special thread grinding semi-automatic machine and a CNC cylindrical grinding semi-automatic machine for processing rotating bodies up to 2 m in length. The equipment is intended for the production and processing of complex technical parts in the machine-building industry. The enterprise was founded in 1900, produces universal high-precision grinding equipment for various purposes and automation levels, machine tools according to individual customer drawings, as well as small-scale mechanization tools and consumer goods. The share of new products in the total production volume for 2009 was 60%. -0-
