There are no grounds for raising prices in Belarusian universities - S.Maskevich
May 16, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. There are no grounds for raising prices in Belarusian universities yet. This was stated today by the Minister of Education, Sergey Maskevich, during an online conference on the BelTA website.
"The main factor that would determine the possibility of changing prices for educational services is a change in the first category wage rate, which entails a change in the labor costs of university teachers. There are no such plans yet, which means there are no grounds for changes in the payment amounts," he stressed.
At the same time, the minister did not rule out that if prices for goods and services, and most importantly, the first category wage rate, increase, then prices for educational services may also increase.-0-
