The main work on preparing for the XXII International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" has been completed. This opinion was expressed today to journalists by Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Tozik, a BELTA correspondent reports.
Today in Vitebsk, the final meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the forum was held. "Unlike previous ones, it was very short. We made a few more points, and in general, the main work on preparing the festival is completed. Everything we agreed on earlier, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the City Executive Committee, and the festival directorate have done practically in full," Anatoly Tozik stated with satisfaction.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed hope that this year "Slavianski Bazaar" will acquire a new look and be more dynamic. "I believe that the opening concert, which uses many innovations, will be very interesting for everyone. The youth component will be strengthened. A theater project will be held within the framework of the festival, and folk craftsmen will participate more actively," noted Anatoly Tozik.
The quality of the event preparation can be judged by the tickets sold. According to the latest data, about 84% have already been sold, added the Deputy Prime Minister.
The XXII International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will be held from July 11 to 15. The forum is one of the most important cultural events funded by the budget of the Union State.
