From industry to culture. Vitebsk region has signed agreements with a number of regions of the Russian Federation
Representatives of the Vitebsk region signed a number of cooperation agreements with Russian regions on February 16 in Moscow. The solemn ceremony took place in the "Republic of Belarus" pavilion at VDNKh as part of the Vitebsk Region Days held there.
In particular, a roadmap for the implementation of the agreement between the administration of the Volgograd region and the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee on trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural and humanitarian cooperation for 2024-2026 was signed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin and the Vice-Governor of the Volgograd Region Anna Pisemskaya.
The Chairman of the Dokszyce District Executive Committee Oleg Kovalenok and the head of the Pechory Municipal District of the Pskov Region Valery Zaitsev concluded an agreement on cross-border cooperation. The Vitebsk District Executive Committee and the Batyrevsky Municipal District of the Chuvash Republic signed an agreement on establishing friendly relations. The Vitebsk district also concluded an agreement with the Ivanovo Municipal District of the Ivanovo Region on cooperation in trade-economic, scientific-technical, and humanitarian-cultural areas. The Miory district established sister-city relations with the Izmalkovsky Municipal District of the Lipetsk Region.

The Deputy Head of the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Oleg Ageev and the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Penza Region Sergey signed a protocol of intent for cooperation in the field of culture. In addition, a number of cooperation agreements were concluded between Vitebsk enterprises and their Russian partners.
