In Vitebsk City Clinical Hospital No. 1, the anesthesiology and resuscitation department has been reopened after renovation, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. The renovated anesthesiology and resuscitation department is designed for 9 beds. It is located in the former cardiology department. The move from the old resuscitation unit to the renovated and more spacious premises has allowed for the additional placement of transfusion support, hemosorption, and plasmapheresis rooms within the department. Over Br400 thousand from the regional budget was spent on the renovation of the department. It is fully equipped with modern medical equipment. It includes transport and stationary artificial lung ventilation (ALV) apparatus, linomatics, monitors, blood gas and electrolyte analyzers, as well as other necessary medical equipment. Medical and household furniture has been installed for the comfort of patients and staff. The spacious ward with six beds has its own nurses' station, which operates around the clock. Patients are monitored 24/7 and receive emergency care when needed. Soon, electronic patient medical records will also be available at the station. Additionally, three more beds are located in the admission department, where patients in critical condition are placed. As noted by the acting chief physician of the hospital, Yevgeny Kulyakin, thanks to the renovation of the anesthesiology and resuscitation department, the conditions for patient stay and medical staff work have significantly improved, and the quality of medical care provided to the population has substantially increased.
"The changes happening in this hospital are, I am sure, systematic. We need to move in this direction and make conditions better for both the staff and the patients," emphasized Vyacheslav Durnov, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, who participated in the opening of the department, and thanked the staff forдостойную работу и стремление к развитию.
