Vitebsk Hotels and Inns: Ready to Welcome Star Guests
— We are always happy to welcome guests of this large-scale event for the Vitebsk region. The "brain" of the festival will stay with us – its chief director Sergey Petrov, producers, hosts. Among the artists, for example, Tamara Gverdtsiteli will stay here. By the way, the singer from Georgia informed the organizers in advance that she prefers to stay specifically at "Eridan". Nadezhda Kadysheva, jazz conductor Anatoly Kroll, and other musicians will also check into the hotel among the first, — said Alexander Khodosov, director of CJSC "Hotel Eridan".
By the way, "Eridan" is the only hotel in Vitebsk that is part of the BestEasternHotels chain. It has a "three-star" category. It confirmed its status for the fourth time quite recently – in June. In addition, this year Alexander Khodosov was awarded the honorary title "Person of the Year of the Vitebsk Region – 2018".
"Vitebsk Hotel" can boast a new look thanks to rebranding.
— Work related to brand change began last year, — said Sergey Losev, director of the tourist and hotel complex. – Today, a logo and stylistic design have been developed for the hotel in calm tones typical of the city on the Dvina – blue, azure, gray. Modernization of the large wing has also been carried out: windows, balcony and entrance doors have been replaced. In 20 rooms of the small wing, new case and upholstered furniture, 19 "Vityaz" LCD TVs have been installed. A 3D drawing of old and modern Vitebsk has appeared on one of the central walls of the hotel. The renovation will continue so that one of the oldest hotels in the regional center, which turned 45 last year, acquires a modern European look.
Modernization with major repairs of four floors has been carried out at the Luchesa tourist and hotel complex. According to Elena Sych, head of the reception and accommodation bureau, 64 rooms have been equipped with new furniture, appliances, and bed linen. This year, a vending machine was installed in the hotel lobby, allowing everyone to purchase a cup of coffee at any time. By the way, all 153 rooms at Luchesa are occupied by festival guests.
Cosmetic repairs have been carried out at the Vetraz hotel of TEDUP Vitebskturist.
— The "Syabry", "Pesniary", and other Belarusian pop artists stay with us every year, — said Svetlana Soboleva, head of the service and accommodation department. — Having worked here for almost a quarter of a century, I can note that Vetraz was once favored by the group "Ivanushki International", "NA-NA", Tatiana Bulanova, Potap and Nastya Kamenskikh, Egor Kreed, Maxim Galkin, and many others. Among the performers, thematic studio rooms such as "Tayamnitsa Vialikaga Knyatsa", where, for example, Alexander Rybak stayed twice, "Mirski Zamak", "Bely Kovel", and rooms decorated in the style of different countries, such as "Russkiy Suvenir", "Venezianskaya Feeriya", and others, are particularly popular.
