The opening of the Summer Amphitheater, a swimming pool, kilometer-long trade rows. What other surprises await guests of the regional "Dazhynki" in Hlybokaye?

The opening of the Summer Amphitheater, a swimming pool, and many other surprises await the residents and guests of Glubokoye – one of the most beautiful Belarusian cities, which will host the regional festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki-2022" this year.

This was discussed at a briefing for journalists with the heads of structural divisions of the regional executive committee and other services on the preparation for the festival.

– The date of "Dazhynki" – September 17 – was not chosen by chance – it is a significant date for our country and all Belarusians. It is the Day of National Unity. It is symbolic that Glubokoye has a square named September 17, which, having been improved and renovated, will become one of the central locations, – shared Petr Podgursky, Head of the Department of Culture of the Regional Executive Committee. – Participants of the Cherry Festival in Glubokoye know that the stage was previously located next to the district executive committee, now it has been moved to the Summer Amphitheater, the construction of which is being completed. The stars of Belarusian pop music will be the first to perform in this magnificent architectural structure.

For "Dazhynki" in Glubokoye, as a tribute to the fact that this is the small homeland of Ignat Buyanitsky – the man who created the Belarusian national theater – the play "Pavlinka" by the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theatre will be brought. A bust of Ignat Buyanitsky can be seen in the "Alley of Famous Countrymen," which leads from September 17 Square.

Dmitry Khoma, Head of the Main Department for Education of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that "Dazhynki" will feature fair exhibitions of vocational and secondary specialized education institutions. And in the renovated Glubokoye Gymnasium, which will become the "school of the future," achievements of the region's education system will be presented. Thanks to the implementation of the "Schools of the Future" project, our region took first place among all regions and the city of Minsk in the olympiad movement this year, is among the top three in centralized testing, and since the beginning of the year, our students have brought more than 25 victories in international olympiads and competitions.

Deputy Head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Regional Executive Committee, Zhanna Listopadova, spoke about where and what treats will be prepared for the residents and guests of Glubokoye:

– The length of the trade rows will be about a kilometer, they will be located on Engels, Molodezhnaya, Lenin, and Krasnoarmeyskaya streets.
