The discovery of new names in poetry is the main continuation of Vladimir Muliavin's traditions, believes the artistic director of the ensemble "Pesnyary" Vyacheslav Sharapov. He spoke about this at a press conference dedicated to the celebration of Belarus Day at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". "Pesnyary" are completing work on a new album of poems by Yanka Kupala, and are working with the works of little-known Belarusian poets of the 19th century, the musician shared his plans. However, the ensemble considers co-creation with contemporary authors important for itself, he emphasized. "We will work in the field of searching for the new Belarusian word," emphasized Vyacheslav Sharapov. Among the contemporary Belarusian poets with whom "Pesnyary" collaborate, he named Valery Maksimovich and Valeria Kustova. In the field of melody, the renowned ensemble intends to adhere to classical canons. "The main thing in a composer's work is to be guided by one's own worldview and remain honest with oneself," added Vyacheslav Sharapov. -0-
