The opening of the FAP after reconstruction near Vitebsk will be the main event of the "Verkhovsky Fair" festival

The reopening of the reconstructed FAP (Feldshersko-Akushersky Punkt - paramedic and obstetric post) building in the urban settlement of Ruba, near Vitebsk, will be the main event of the "Verkhovs'kyi Kirmarsh" festival, which will take place in the settlement on September 19, as reported by the Vitebsk City Executive Committee.

This paramedic and obstetric post is organized to bring medical care closer to the residents of remote areas of the urban settlement of Ruba, specifically the former settlement of Verkhovye. The reconstruction of the medical facility, which serves about 1.4 thousand adult residents, was carried out this year. The Vitebsk Capital Construction Department acted as the client for the work, and LLC "Vector A" was the contractor. The layout includes separate rooms for the general practitioner and pediatrician, a procedure room for various medical interventions, and a spacious hall for waiting visitors.

The medical facility has also been equipped with a new portable electrocardiograph, which allows for ECG recording both at the facility and at home. Devices for physiotherapy procedures have been acquired: quantum therapy and magnetotherapy. A barrier-free environment for people with disabilities and mothers with strollers has been created in the building and the adjacent territory.

"But the main thing is that now the residents of Verkhovye, who previously had to travel to the other end of Ruba or to Vitebsk City Polyclinic No. 6, a branch of which the FAP is, can now receive medical services closer to home. They have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the medical facility," added the Vitebsk Central City Polyclinic.

The schedule and operating system of the paramedic, general practitioner, and pediatrician remain the same. Plans include organizing systematic visits by specialists from Vitebsk City Polyclinic No. 6; currently, their consultations are provided as needed.

The grand opening of the FAP will take place at 11:00 AM during the "Verkhovs'kyi Kirmarsh" festival, the events of which will unfold on Partizanskaya Street starting from 10:00 AM. The program also includes an agricultural fair of food and non-food products, a concert, sports games, lasertag, and amusement rides.
