The open dialogue with youth "Komsomol. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow" and the "For Belarus!" car rally were held in Dubrovno

Открытый диалог с молодежью «Комсомол. Вчера. Сегодня. Завтра» и автопробег «За Беларусь!» прошли в Дубровно
Where more than 75 years ago the earth trembled from the explosions of bombs and shells, where thousands of heroic soldiers gave their lives for a prosperous Belarus, today their memory is honored and they speak about the future – bright and peaceful. Now these concepts have acquired special value.

In Dubrovno, an open dialogue with youth "Komsomol. Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow," dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the LKSMB, and a motor rally were held.

Activists and leaders of the youth movement from organizations and enterprises of the Dubrovno district, as well as Komsomol veterans, gathered at the local history museum to discuss pressing issues and the situation in the country, and to share their views on life. The dialogue was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev, as well as the district leadership.

The conversation was informal and frank. What should modern youth be like for society to move forward? What areas of work should the BRSM focus on to make the organization more attractive to young people? What needs to be done to prevent distortion of the country's history and its symbols? Does the youth parliament have a future? How important are the results of the VII Forum of Belarus and Russia for our country? What can protests lead to? These and a number of other issues were discussed by the dialogue participants.

Vladimir Terentyev shared interesting and vivid moments from his Komsomol youth, inspired the youth to do good deeds for which they would not be ashamed to look their descendants in the eye later. The head of the regional deputy corps also cited examples of natives of Dubrovno who have achieved success in production, science, business, crafts, and volunteering.

– There is someone to look up to, and new initiatives are expected from the youth, – added Vladimir Terentyev. – Today's youth, for the most part, is open, purposeful, caring, thinking, and analytical. The future of the state lies with them.

After the open dialogue, several dozen motorcycles and cars with state symbols started from the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union Anna Nikandrova.

– For me, Belarus is a peaceful clear sky over my head, over the heads of my children. We need to work for the common good, not wander aimlessly through the streets, – said Yulia Veleyishikova, one of the participants from Dubrovno.

Ekaterina Spichenok, on the other hand, came from Orsha on a motorcycle specifically to support the run.

– I stand for a strong and prosperous Belarus. Our flag, our emblem, our country are dear to me. I wanted to participate in laying flowers and wreaths at memorable places because it expresses my attitude towards Belarus, – she shared.

The route, about 80 km long, passed through places of military glory and military burials in the district. The participants of the run honored the memory of the Fatherland defenders and civilians who died during the Great Patriotic War at the "Theolin" military burial site, at the "Grieving Mother" monument, and in the "Rylionki" memorial complex. It is worth reminding that this significant place was solemnly opened after reconstruction in 2020. A rally dedicated to the feats of soldiers and officers during the Great Patriotic War was held here. Veterans of the Komsomol movement called to be grateful heirs of the best traditions of the Belarusian people, and people expressed support for the country's current political course.

The final point of the motor rally route was the place where Yuri Smirnov, a 19-year-old soldier of the Great Patriotic War, died in the village of Shalashino.
