The open volleyball tournament of OJSC "MTZ" among industrial enterprises of Minsk and Vitebsk was held in the regional center
The competitions were held at the Central Sports Complex. Representatives of MTZ, MAZ, MZKT, Vitebskoblgaz, and Vitebskenergo participated. The teams competed against each other in a round-robin system. As a result of two days of intense battles, the Vitebsk energy workers became the strongest. The gas workers took second place, and the tractor factory took third.
The solemn closing ceremony of the tournament was attended by the chairman of the regional executive committee Alexander Subbotin and the general director of OJSC "MTZ" Vitaly Vovk, the head of the Belarusian Volleyball Federation Vladimir Vashchenko. The guests not only thanked the athletes for their excellent game and awarded the best, but also promised that the tractor manufacturer would regularly hold similar events in the Vitebsk region.
