New generation panel houses will appear in Novopolotsk this year
Back in 2012, the large-panel housing construction plant of OJSC "Construction and Installation Trust No. 16, Novopolotsk" mastered the production of modernized series 90 panels, and the builders plan to commission one such apartment building using new designs in January.
In total, in 2013, the city is to build 47.5 thousand square meters of housing. In other words, 12 apartment buildings, with one half of them being built with state support, and the other half at the expense of citizens' own funds. The oil city aims to erect "high-rises" precisely using the modern large-panel housing construction technology being introduced by local builders today. Such housing has a number of advantages, including improved thermal conductivity and quality of execution, which is not inferior to brick buildings, but at the same time remains a more budget-friendly option for the population.
It is worth noting that the plant's capacities after its modernization allow for the production of structures for 100 thousand square meters of housing per year, therefore, it is necessary to enter new sales markets. The construction trust is now actively engaged in searching for customers, including in other cities and regions.
