The Vitebsk region's ambulance fleet has been replenished with all-terrain vehicles

The fleet of the emergency medical care station of the Polotsk Central City Hospital has been replenished with three vehicles, two of which are "GAZelles" intended for the Vetrino post. They are all-terrain vehicles, which will improve medical care for the rural population of the region, and were purchased using local budget funds and hospital funds. The third specialized vehicle was donated to the city by sister city Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Prior to this, the Polotsk ambulance service had 11 vehicles at its disposal. Here, 10 medical teams work around the clock in constant readiness, which exceeds the state minimum social standard by 11 percent.

The provision of necessary pre-hospital medical care is also facilitated by equipping the ambulance vehicles with the most modern medical equipment and the latest communication systems.
