A park of family trees will be established in Orsha
The event will take place on November 2, on the alley along Sovetskaya Street along the Dnieper embankment and will bring together about 80 family couples. Among them will be newlyweds who have just entered into their union, as well as spouses who have carefully cherished their relationships for many decades and have celebrated pearl, silver, and golden anniversaries. Together with everyone, 100-year-old Petr Egorovich Vardamatsky will plant his own family tree with his wife. And some families will celebrate the birth of children in this way.
The necessary inventory, maple saplings, and personalized nameplates will be provided free of charge to all participants who have applied in advance. Each of them will receive a certificate as a keepsake.
"The park will become a real decoration of Orsha and a place of attraction for citizens," is convinced Viktor Sosnovsky. He also noted that all willing family couples can plant a tree in it, for which they need to contact the organizers - the BRSM or the Orsha District Executive Committee.
More than 100 thousand trees have been planted in the Vitebsk region. Parks of family trees have been established in Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, Verkhnedvinsk, Postavy, Dokshitsy, and the urban settlement of Beshenkovichi.
