A batch of alcohol-containing liquid worth Br28 million has been seized in Dubrovno district, the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed BELTA. On the Brest - Minsk - Russian Federation border highway near the village of Zastenki in Dubrovno district, officers of the traffic police department of the Dubrovno District Department of Internal Affairs stopped an Iveco vehicle driven by an unemployed resident of the Minsk region, born in 1976. The driver was transporting 3.5 thousand liters of alcohol-containing liquid in 5-liter canisters without proper documentation.

The vehicle with the cargo has been seized. An investigation is underway.
