Easter events in the Vitebsk region will continue until the end of April
Orthodox Christians celebrated one of the most significant church holidays – the Resurrection of Christ. On this day, we rethink the meaning of the sacrifice of God and His Son, we learn to rejoice in the life given to us. Congratulating the flock on Easter, Archbishop Dmitry called for living with love in the heart and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, who ascended the cross for the redemption of human sin.
The head of the Vitebsk diocese received a well-deserved award for his significant contribution to the revival of the spiritual sphere in the Vitebsk region after more than seventy years of persecution of clergy.
His Eminence advocates for the development of spiritual education for children and youth, the involvement of laity in good deeds to help those in need, and also strives to revive or rebuild destroyed churches.
