Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill has blessed the upcoming celebrations in Polotsk on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the transfer of the relics of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk. As Vladimir Novatsky noted, the Patriarch admitted that he enjoys visiting the Belarusian land and meeting with believers and residents of Belarus. Despite his busy schedule, he promised to take part in the opening and consecration of the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Vitebsk, which is scheduled for the autumn of this year. His Holiness the Patriarch has blessed the current session of the Synod of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Dmitry of Vitebsk and Orsha told reporters.
