The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church intends to perform the rite of exaltation using the national shrine of Belarus - the cross of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk. It is planned that Patriarch Kirill's visit to Belarus will take place from September 25 to 28. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church intends to visit the Minsk, Polotsk, and Vitebsk eparchies. The preliminary program of the visit includes meetings with the clergy and the public of Belarus, familiarization with the life of Orthodox communities, as well as the performance of divine services.
