Pension, housing, street repair - Vladimir Andreichenko held a reception of citizens in Ushachi

Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko held a reception of citizens in Ushachi and considered issues of pension provision, housing improvement and street repair in the district center.

Five people signed up for the reception with the Chairman of the House of Representatives. A resident of Ushachi appealed regarding the refund of funds that she had to return as compensation for her son's training at the Lepel State Agrarian-Technical College. After receiving his diploma, the young man worked in the housing and communal services in his specialty, and then transferred to the Department of Protection before the end of his mandatory work period. Since the contractual obligations on his part were not fully fulfilled, the young specialist was obliged to reimburse the funds spent on his education in the amount of about Br7.5 thousand. Vladimir Andreichenko noted that in this case, everything was calculated according to the law and it is not possible to challenge it.

Another applicant from Ushachi raised the issue of removing her from the waiting list for housing improvement. According to the law, the woman has enough square meters and cannot claim new housing. She also expressed the opinion that young people should be more actively involved in district and local events - not only cultural and entertainment, but also civic-patriotic ones. The Chairman of the House of Representatives noted that recently the younger generation has been widely involved in the public life of the country, and if schoolchildren do not attend such events locally, then the issue is with the district authorities. Representatives of the district executive committee later said that young people always participate in all events held in the district, and only during the pandemic were children not involved. A resident of Ushachi also asked for assistance in medical care: she needs surgery, and the woman would like to see a good specialist. Vladimir Andreichenko instructed to deal with this issue and help the pensioner.

A resident of Ushachi has a problem with a malfunctioning stove in a house managed by the housing and communal services (HCS), where he moved in with his brother. The man claims that the stove was in poor condition from the start. The Chairman of the House of Representatives instructed the HCS employees to repair the stove within a month and advised the applicant to build housing using a preferential loan, which the man is entitled to.

A resident of the village of Lutovo Sel'tso approached with a question about pension provision. He could have been granted an early pension, but the documents confirming work in hazardous conditions were destroyed at the enterprise where the man worked. That organization no longer exists either, it has been liquidated. The archive contains no information about the applicant's specific work: the manager did not send it there. Vladimir Andreichenko recommended resolving the issue through court proceedings.

A collective appeal from pensioners from the district center concerned road repairs on one of the streets. The district executive committee leadership noted that there are more problematic streets in Ushachi, the repair of which has already been included in the plans for this year. Molodezhnaya Street, where, according to the applicants, the road surface needs to be replaced, will be graded and included in the plans for reconstruction for next year.

Following the reception, Vladimir Andreichenko noted that such meetings with citizens help to gain a deeper understanding of the problems of the regions. "Citizens' receptions sometimes become homework for representatives of state authorities. We take many issues into account in legislative practice," emphasized the Chairman of the House of Representatives.
