The first university dental clinic in Belarus opened at VGMU

A portion of Vitebsk residents, as well as students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, will be served here, which will allow for specialized assistance and relieve the polyclinic system. In essence, the institution is a polyclinic of the present and future, a multidisciplinary medical center for providing highly qualified dental care and a clinical base for practice-oriented student training.

– Here, on modern equipment, in comfortable conditions, under the guidance of qualified specialists, professors of our university, dental students will improve their competence and master the necessary practical skills on a daily basis, – informed Anatoly Shchastny, member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, Rector of VSMU, during the grand opening. – This is the first such experience; the polyclinic is important for us not only as an educational platform; its emergence and purpose indicate that we are working in close collaboration with practical healthcare.

Congratulating the faculty and students on such a significant event, Vladimir Penin, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, noted that the appearance of such a unique facility is evidence that our healthcare is developing and moving forward, meeting modern requirements.
