The Belarusian Equestrian Championship will be held on May 21-23 in Baran at the Olympic Reserve Center for Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding, the institution informed a BELTA correspondent. Adult athletes and juniors will take part in the competition. About 50 people are expected in total. Participants will compete for three sets of awards. Thus, in the first category, young men and women born in 1992 and younger will perform. In the second and third categories, athletes over 18 years old on horses aged 4-5 and 5-6 years, respectively. Winners will be determined in individual championships and team events. They will be awarded prizes, medals, and honorary diplomas. The best team will also be presented with a Cup. The tournament is organized by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus and the Olympic Reserve Center for Equestrian Sports and Horse Breeding in Baran. -0-
