Ticket sales on the websites kvitki.by and ticketpro.by, as well as bilesuserviss.lv (Latvia), bilietai.lt (Lithuania), piletilevi.ee (Estonia) will begin on February 24.
"The start of ticket sales is always an important step, so for the fans of "Slavianski Bazaar", the festival directorate is holding the "First 29 Days in honor of the XXIX Festival" promotion from February 21 to March 20 - offering a 10% discount when purchasing tickets for events in the Summer Amphitheatre and the Vitebsk Concert Hall," the organizers noted.
"Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will be held from July 13 to 21. The grand opening ceremony will take place on July 16, and the closing ceremony on July 20. Additional events are planned for July 13-15 and July 21.
The main events of the forum will be the XXIX International Pop Song Performers Competition "Vitebsk-2020" and the XVIII International Children's Music Competition "Vitebsk-2020". Traditionally, the competitions for young performers will be held in the Vitebsk Concert Hall. Adult contestants will perform their compositions on the amphitheater stage. On the first day of the final, they will have to sing a Slavic hit accompanied by an orchestra, and on the second day - a world hit accompanied by a minus-one track. On each of the final days, second parts are planned: Dmitry Malikov and Thomas Anders will perform with solo programs.
In addition to the main stage of the Summer Amphitheatre, the event will also take place in the Vitebsk Concert Hall, the Yakub Kolas National Academic Drama Theatre, the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic, and the Belarusian Puppet Theatre "Lyalka". Other venues will also be filled with interesting projects. For example, an open air "Festival Picnic" will be held on Victory Square. The "Slavic Blessing" choir music festival will take place in the Holy Assumption Cathedral. The II International Dance Project DREAM DANCE FEST is planned at the Vitebsk Regional Philharmonic. The Festival Directorate will become the venue for late-night jazz fan meetings. The festival program traditionally includes the "On Seven Winds" street art fest, music, theater, puppet, and art projects, and museum exhibitions.
