The first kindergarten opened in the new Bilevo-1 microdistrict in Vitebsk

November 22, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Children's nursery-kindergarten No. 110 was solemnly opened today in the Bilevo-1 microdistrict in Vitebsk, BELTA correspondent reports. This is the first preschool institution to open its doors in the regional center in the last eighteen years. Br9 billion was invested in the construction of the new facility with an area of 4.2 thousand sq.m, including Br7.5 billion from the republican budget. The nursery-kindergarten will accommodate 186 children from large families living in the developing microdistrict. All conditions have been created here for their organic and comprehensive development. The three-story building with an elevator system includes a swimming pool, a music room, and large sports and fitness rooms. The food block meets all sanitary requirements. It has separate vegetable, fish and meat, and hot food preparation areas, and is equipped with a combi oven. In addition, each group has a cabinet for sterilizing children's dishes during epidemics. The medical unit includes two isolation rooms for children of early and preschool age, a physical therapy room with a massage area, three inhalers, two ultrasonic nebulizers, an oxygen cocktail maker, five portable air ionizers, and other medical equipment. As emphasized at the opening ceremony by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, this facility has immense social significance. However, its commissioning does not solve the problem of providing preschool education to all children in need living in the new microdistrict. Therefore, two more similar kindergartens with a capacity of 230 places are to be built in 2011, the head of the region noted, adding that the task for the coming years is to bring all preschool institutions into proper condition. -0-
