The first hypermarket in Vitebsk will be built by businessmen from the Łódź Voivodeship

November 11, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. Businessmen from the Łódź Voivodeship will build the first hypermarket in Vitebsk. An agreement on this was reached during the recently concluded visit of the Vitebsk region delegation to Poland, Valentin Tsvetkov, head of the entrepreneurship development and consumer market department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's economy committee, told a BELTA correspondent. According to him, Polish entrepreneurs have already received bank guarantees to participate in this investment project and are now waiting for a draft design of the future giant store from the Belarusian side. It is expected that this project will be presented to investors by December of this year. The construction of the hypermarket is planned in the new Bilevo residential microdistrict. Products from both Belarusian manufacturers and enterprises of the Łódź Voivodeship will be presented here. Another promising area of cooperation between Vitebsk and Łódź businessmen could be logistics, Valentin Tsvetkov is confident. Polish companies operating in this field have presented several of their projects to the Belarusian side for study and have expressed interest in creating a logistics center in the Vitebsk region. -0-
