The first graduation of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the specialty "rescuer-firefighter" will take place today in Vitebsk

The first graduation of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the specialty "rescuer-firefighter" with the assignment of the 7th rank will take place in Vitebsk today, the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed a BELTA correspondent.

Professional training of workers in the working profession "rescuer-firefighter" with the assignment of the 7th rank and the issuance of documents established by the Ministry of Education began in the Vitebsk region on January 8 of this year at the Training Center of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The three-month training course consists of 598 academic hours, includes a set of theoretical and practical classes, exercises, and participation in fire suppression.

Today, in a solemn ceremony, the first graduation of 41 cadets will take place with the presentation of certificates. Then, the training of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in this specialty will be carried out 2-3 times a year as cadets are recruited.

The department noted that previously, employees were enrolled in staff after passing a special check and medical examination. Professional training of newcomers was conducted individually at the place of service and through course training at the Training Center of the Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. However, the specialty was not assigned at the same time. The work in other regional training centers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was structured similarly.
