The first residential building constructed with Chinese investment has been commissioned in Vitebsk

At the end of February, within the established deadlines, another residential building – KP D-72 on Akterov Yeremenko Street in Bilevo-3 – was commissioned. Its peculiarity is that it is the first house in the regional center built within the framework of the republican project "Construction of Social Housing" with the technical and economic assistance of the People's Republic of China.

Last August, as already reported, a solemn ceremony was held at the site of the future house, dedicated to the start of the project implementation in the Vitebsk region, with the participation of the leadership of the regional executive committee, the Vitebsk House-Building Combine, as well as representatives of the Embassy of the PRC in the Republic of Belarus and the 25th company of the China Railway Construction Corporation (general contractor for this facility).

This 120-apartment building, authored by UP "Institute Vitebskgrazhdanproekt", was erected by builders of Vitebsk DSK from domestic materials. Its cost is about 6 million rubles. In accordance with the project conditions, the construction (except for the development of design and estimate documentation) is financed by the Chinese side. The customer is the Capital Construction Department of the regional executive committee, and the operating organization is the Housing and Communal Services Department of Vitebsk. After the house is registered with the Bureau of Technical Inventory, 120 Vitebsk residents will receive the keys to brand new one-, two-, and three-room apartments.

We remind you that citizens who are on the waiting list for housing improvement and are eligible for social housing can become новоселами in such houses. As reported by Marina Areshchenko, Head of the Housing Policy Department of the City Executive Committee, today in Vitebsk about 600 citizens belong to this category, including 281 minors.

It is planned to start the construction of the second "Chinese" house within the framework of the "Construction of Social Housing" project this year.
