The district House of Culture will be the first of 180 facilities to be commissioned for the regional "Dazhynki-2016" in Senno

In mid-July, the district House of Culture in Senno is planned to be commissioned after reconstruction – one of the first landmark facilities in the city that is being transformed for the regional festival "Dazhynki-2016".

As reported by Vladimir Belous, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, work is currently underway in the district center on all planned facilities without falling behind schedule. If the current pace is maintained and financial issues are resolved promptly, then by the end of August, the main volume (not less than 95%) of activities will be completed, and only beautification and baking of festive pies will remain before the guests arrive.

Among the most important, Vladimir Belous named the construction of a new registry office building, as well as the repair and reconstruction of the sports and recreation complex, the children's art school, the modernization of the historical and local lore museum, educational and healthcare institutions.

Special attention is paid to social facilities, as well as landscaping work on streets and courtyards, which will serve local residents for a long time after the holiday.

The renovation of the trade network of the district center, service facilities, including the hotel, and other buildings and structures is in full swing, with the financing of the work carried out at the expense of the own funds of enterprises and organizations.

This is exactly how local residents are improving their city – all together. Greening, landscaping, and creation of recreation areas contests are being held; in other words, everything is subordinated to one goal. Of course, taking into account the financial situation, it is necessary to optimize the types and volumes of planned work, performing current repairs instead of capital repairs in some places.

The main achievement in preparation for "Dazhynki" will be a significant renewal of the city and its infrastructure, transforming the venue for the next festival of rural workers, Vladimir Belous is confident. In total, within the framework of preparing Senno for the celebrations, repair work is planned at more than 180 facilities.
