The Vitebsk region's pioneer organization will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization by releasing an interactive "Pionerskaya Pravda," said Yulia Ivanova, methodologist for pioneer work and children's movements at the Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth. The Vitebsk region's pioneer organization will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization by releasing an interactive "Pionerskaya Pravda," Yulia Ivanova, methodologist for pioneer work and children's movements at the Vitebsk Regional Palace of Children and Youth, told a BELTA correspondent.

"2015 is a jubilee year for the pioneer organization of Belarus. Therefore, many events are planned. But this year also marks the 90th anniversary of the first issue of the newspaper 'Pionerskaya Pravda.' Therefore, we are currently receiving materials from school detachments via email, with stories about themselves, information about projects they are proud of, and photographs for an exhibition of pioneer activities. All this will be organized into three sections of the future interactive newspaper 'Pionerskaya Pravda,' which will appear on the website of the regional palace of children and youth from March 3-5," Yulia Ivanova explained the essence of the project.

By the way, some districts have come up with their own initiatives to celebrate the anniversary of "Pionerskaya Pravda." For example, a unified information hour, which will be held in all pioneer detachments of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk on March 6, will be dedicated to it. "Children will get acquainted with old issues of the newspaper, and will also try to release their own 'Pionerskaya Pravda,' which will tell about the modern life of the young members of the organization," explained Inna Gaffarova, head of the educational and methodological office of the center for creativity of children and youth of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk.

In general, the pioneer organizations of the Vitebsk region are welcoming 2015 with a series of initiatives and proposals. Thus, on January 22, the first district review competition of projects "Belarus-2015. Time of Your Opportunities" was held at Secondary School No. 44. The organizers are the education department of the administration of the Oktyabrsky District, together with the center for creativity of children and youth. Pioneer detachments from 14 educational institutions presented various social projects that are either already being implemented or are only planned. The most interesting ones will be proposed to all educational institutions, and the competition itself is planned to be held at the city level.

At the regional level, the second regional forum "We Are Together!" of leaders of BRSM and BRPP, scheduled for the end of February, will be the first significant event of the anniversary year. In the same month, solemn ceremonies "I Remember! I Am Proud!" dedicated to the Day of the Young Hero-Anti-Fascist will be held in all educational institutions of the region. Throughout the spring, as well as in June, meetings of pioneer organizations of the Vitebsk region and regions of the Russian Federation "Days of Pioneer Friendship" will take place. The regional review competition of agitation brigades "Worthy of the Name" is planned, as well as regional stages and participation in the republican competitions "Pioneer of the Year 2015", "Superstar", "We Obey the Traffic Laws!", and, of course, the "Zarnitsa" games, intellectual game championships, and much more.

The regional youth marathon of the all-Belarusian campaign "Thank You for the Victory!" should be held on a grand scale in the year of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. And the key events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the organization will be the regional rally of BRPP and the festival "Hello, Pioneria!" on the banks of the Western Dvina River.

Pioneer detachments are currently operating in almost every school in the region. Their members are over 70.2 thousand children, or 65% of the total number of young residents of the region aged 7 to 17 years.
