Five cooperation agreements signed at the economic forum in Vitebsk
To strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the government of the Saratov region (Russia) signed a roadmap for trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation for 2019-2021. Heads of authorities of Chuguev (Ukraine) and the Vitebsk District Executive Committee put their signatures on the cooperation agreement. The Chinese city of Fuzhou and the Polotsk District Executive Committee signed a protocol of intent to establish friendly relations. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov and Allama Iqbal Open University (Pakistan). The Tula Fund for the Development of International Business Relations "Akord" and the Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center confirmed their intentions to cooperate closely through a partnership agreement on mutual cooperation.
Traditionally, the forum hosted a ceremony to honor talented young scientists, specialists, researchers involved in the development and implementation of innovative programs, as well as enterprises actively implementing innovative technologies in their production processes.
85 delegations from 22 countries are participating in the VIII International Economic Forum "Innovations. Investments. Prospects" in Vitebsk. The two-day program of the forum includes signing cooperation agreements between the districts of the region and foreign regions, exhibition expositions, demonstration sites, a business contacts exchange, the WorldSkills youth competition for professional training and qualifications, and the conference "The Role of the Education System in Innovative Developments". Visits to enterprises and facilities in the region are planned.
