— Based on the results of qualifying competitions, Vitebsk region will be represented in the Belarusian delegation by biathlete Irina Krivko, speed skaters Vitaly Mikhailov and Ksenia Sadovskaya, skier Mikhail Semenov, and short-track speed skater Maxim Sergeev, — said **Head of the Department of Sports and Tourism Vasily Zakharevich**.

As Vasily Alekseevich emphasized, each of the athletes is capable of achieving a worthy result on the ski track and ice. But special hopes, of course, are placed on Irina Krivko, who recently became the main sensation at the Biathlon World Cup in Annecy, France, finishing in second place in the mass start.

All candidates for participation in the Games were provided with the most effective conditions for organizing and conducting the training process, and medical support was ensured.
