One-fifth of the products shipped by enterprises in the Vitebsk region are innovative
October 16, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. One-fifth of the products shipped by enterprises of the Vitebsk region are innovative, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee told BELTA.
The industrial complex of the region has actively engaged in the creation of innovative products. For January-September of the current year, innovative products worth Br10.5 trillion were produced and shipped, which is 21.5% of the total volume of shipped products. Along with increasing the output of already mastered types of products, enterprises are working on introducing new types of products. For example, this year Vizas OJSC began producing gear grinding semi-automatic machines, and Naftan OJSC produced nitron-D fiber bundles for the first time.
Under the State Program for Innovative Development of Belarus for 2011-2015, 13 projects are being implemented in the region aimed at introducing innovative technologies into the production sphere, increasing production volumes, and creating and modernizing highly efficient jobs. Since the beginning of the program implementation, 4 projects have been completed. At the private enterprise Natur-Green, the production of wood-coal carburizer has been organized, which is used for surface carburizing of steel products and is a specially processed fraction of charcoal. Another private scientific and production enterprise, Spectravtomatkompleks, is implementing a project of the V-VI technological order – it is creating a production of an automated multifunctional fluorescent analyzer of biological cells and tissues with high resolution. This device belongs to specialized medical equipment and can be used for laboratory diagnosis of various diseases. Two projects have been implemented at the Novopolotsk Printing House and Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory OJSC.
Since the beginning of the current year, two projects with the participation of funds from the Belarusian Innovation Fund are being implemented for the first time under the state program for innovative development: the development and implementation of a new technology for the production of cement-porous sheets, ensuring resource saving and import substitution in construction at OrshaCHEMBel NGO, and the expansion of production of boilers and boiler equipment at Belkotlomash NPP.
The start of another large-scale innovative and import-substituting project has been given in the Miory district. The construction of a plant for the production of sheet metal and tinplate, which is being carried out by MMZP-Group LLC, with a capacity of 200 thousand tons per year, is beginning here. The implementation of this project will reduce the import of sheet metal by 30%, which in monetary terms will be approximately $290 million.
As noted in the Economy Committee, since the beginning of the implementation of the projects of the state program for innovative development, 127 highly efficient jobs have been created and modernized, over Br37 billion of investments have been mastered, and the volume of innovative products produced has exceeded the costs of their production by 3 times. -0-
