One-fifth of JSC "Vityaz" products are innovative

One-fifth of the products of open joint-stock company "Vityaz" are innovative, the Vitebsk City Executive Committee's Economy Department informed a BELTA correspondent. Among the new developments of the enterprise, the City Executive Committee named LCD and LED color televisions, terrestrial and cable TV tuners, fan heaters, quantum therapy devices, steam sterilizers, onboard maintenance systems, and strength parameter recorders. For 5 months of 2012, the share of innovative products increased to 22.2%, with their production amounting to Br52 billion, compared to Br42.8 billion produced in January-April. JSC "Keramika" is increasing the production of innovative products - porous hollow ceramic blocks. For 4 months of the current year, 2674 thousand pieces of conditional bricks were produced, while for the entire 2011, 2598 thousand pieces of conditional bricks of such products were produced. As a result, the share of innovative products has more than doubled. At JSC "Vitebskiye Kovry", the production of innovative products has increased due to the production and shipment of carpets and jacquard double-width runners made of semi-wool yarn and synthetic yarn containing high-shrinkage kanekaron fibers, tufted rugs with a printed pattern on a rubber backing, and "shaggy" carpets and jacquard double-width runners. Unitary enterprise "Polimerkonstruktsiya" has increased the share of innovative products to 60% since the beginning of the year due to the production of slotted drainage and aerators. According to the City Executive Committee, in January-April of the current year, the share of shipped innovative products by industrial enterprises in the total volume of shipped products amounted to 15.7%. Out of 84 enterprises in the city, 60 produce innovative products. -0-
