The fifth symbol of Victory was installed on the Mound of Immortality in Orsha
The T-72 "Ural" main battle tank was installed
on the Mound of Immortality in Orsha. It was transferred to the city on the Dnieper by military unit
No. 20193 of the 72nd Guards Joint Training Center for training warrant officers and junior specialists.
The 7-meter long tank took its honorable place and became the fifth symbol of Victory, along with other combat vehicles and equipment. This is especially significant in the year of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Mound of Immortality. It is the first man-made mound in the country, piled up in 1966 by the residents of Orsha region in honor of the heroic past of the Belarusian people, the liberator warriors, and the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
