Under the innovation development program in Belarus, seven enterprises have been created in half a year.

July 28, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. The State Program for Innovative Development for 2011-2015 has begun to be successfully implemented, stated Igor Voitov, Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology, in an interview with a BELTA correspondent. Today, he was receiving citizens in Vitebsk.

In six months, seven innovative enterprises have been created in Belarus under the innovative development program, and the target indicator for the production of innovative products has been met at 12.7%, the head of the department reported. Currently, active work is underway to create the infrastructure for regional technoparks. For example, in the Vitebsk region, they will be created on the basis of the Vitebsk State Technological University and Polotsk State University.

At the same time, according to Igor Voitov, enterprise managers need to make maximum use of the technical and scientific developments available in the country and more actively implement advanced foreign technologies. "Often, managers lack the enterprise to seek new ideas," he believes.

The head of the department names the creation of new innovative enterprises that will allow the production of export-oriented innovative products with high added value as the main tasks of the State Committee on Science and Technology at the current stage of economic development. The second task is the implementation and commercialization of scientific ideas and developments. -0-
