The winner of the regional competition-marathon "Family in the Lens", which took place as part of Parental Love Week in the Vitebsk region, was a family from Dokshytsy

The marathon started on October 14, Mother's Day, and lasted until Father's Day, October 21. Every day throughout the week, participants completed various thematic tasks: sports, labor, creative, and others. Competitive photo and video reports were published on the social media pages of the regional committee of the BRSM, as well as territorial committees of the BRSM, with a specific hashtag.

The finale of the contest-marathon was the "Forum of Young Families," which took place today in Vitebsk at the Belarusian Puppet Theatre "Lialka." Families participated in a dialogue platform, shared their emotions and impressions. Participants were awarded diplomas and gifts. The winners – the Khilko family from Dokshitsy – received a certificate for a trip to the "Lebyazhy" water park in Minsk.

As noted by Zhanna Naritsyna, the second secretary of the regional committee of the BRSM, the goals of the competition-marathon are to promote the family as the main value of society, to expand the understanding of the spiritual values of kindness, love for parents, and also to develop the creative abilities of young families.

The organizers of the competition-marathon were the regional committee of the BRSM together with the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the regional executive committee, the department of culture of the regional executive committee, the regional trade union association, the regional organization of the Belarusian Women's Union.
