The winners of the fifth regional competition "Best Agro-Estate of the Year of the Vitebsk Region" will be announced in October
The competition is held in five nominations – "Best Start", "Preservation of Belarusian Traditions", "Healthy Lifestyle", "Hospitality", "Eco-Estate of the Year". Individuals residing in rural areas, small towns, and engaged in personal subsidiary farming, as well as agricultural organizations providing agro-ecotourism services and registered in our region, are eligible to participate.
Applicants must submit the following documents no later than October 1, 2014, to the departments of education, sports, and tourism of city/district executive committees (at their place of registration): an application for participation in the competition; documents confirming quantitative indicators of agro-ecotourism activities (information on contracts for agro-ecotourism services concluded in the reporting year, marked by the tax authority); documents (materials) that allow determining the participant's compliance with the criteria of the declared nomination; diplomas, certificates, letters of appreciation; information on professional training (participation in seminars, trainings, internships in agro-ecotourism, etc.); advertising brochures, catalogs; photo albums showcasing the subject's agro-ecotourism activities.
An authoritative jury, based on the submitted materials, will select no more than three participants in each nomination, one of whom will become the winner, and two will be laureates. All of them will be awarded commemorative prizes and diplomas in a solemn ceremony with the participation of media representatives.
This competition is aimed at promoting agro-ecotourism activities among rural residents and inhabitants of small urban settlements. Its organizers are the regional executive committee, OJSC
