The winners of the Ministry of Finance Spartakiad will be determined in Vitebsk on August 24-26

Employees of the Ministry of Finance from all regions of the republic will test their strength, agility and intellect in Vitebsk, the Ideological Work Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The final of the republican industry sports games of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus is being held in the Vitebsk region from August 24 to 26. A total of 12 teams will take part in the competitions, representing the staff of financial bodies of all regions and the city of Minsk, as well as the Ministry of Finance and its structural divisions. The main venue for the competitions will be the sports complex of the Vitebsk Cadet School in the urban settlement of Luzhesno near Vitebsk. Competitions in mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, swimming and the "Health" summer all-around will be held here. Participants of the sports games will compete in shooting and billiards in the sports halls of Vitebsk. Winners will receive diplomas and commemorative gifts. The main goal of the sports games, whose motto is "Through sport - to unity and friendship," is to involve the department's employees in a healthy lifestyle, encourage participation in mass physical culture and sports events, exchange work experience in the development of physical culture and sports, and preserve sports traditions in the teams. -0-
