Honorary cups with shoes and sneakers will be awarded to the winners of the "Fire of Dance" festival in Vitebsk

The winners of the youth festival "Fire of Dance-2011" at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will receive half-meter trophy lamps with symbolic shoes and sneakers as awards. This was announced today at a press conference dedicated to Youth Day by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the NGO "BRSM" Igor Buzovsky, BELTA correspondent reports.

A total of four author-designed trophies will be awarded, corresponding to the number of nominations: "Dance Show", "Power of Two: Jazz-Modern", "Power of Two: Latin", and "Power of Two: Break-Dance". About 300 young people from various regions of Belarus will participate in the creative competition. The dance non-stop, in which they will participate today, will last until the evening.

The rich program of Youth Day also includes hourly prize draws, the sports and entertainment project "Youth FEST", and the operation of dance, sports, graffiti, break-dance, and beatbox areas, where spectators can not only get acquainted with modern trends in youth subcultures but also receive master classes. The award ceremony for the winners of the dance non-stop will take place in the evening, immediately followed by a new creative competition - a DJ music battle, which will last until late at night.

Igor Buzovsky also emphasized the significant role of young people themselves and the state in holding Youth Day. "None of today's events would have taken place without the initiative of our youth and the comprehensive support provided by the state in their preparation," the youth leader noted. -0-
