Almost 5.5 thousand applicants are planned to be enrolled in universities in the Vitebsk region

The university admission campaign has entered its final stage.

Most applicants, having submitted CT certificates and documents by July 14, are now awaiting enrollment in their chosen educational institutions, while some are still taking internal entrance examinations in creative arts, physical education, and other subjects.

The enrollment process for state-funded places will be completed on July 24 (for law enforcement universities – on July 22, for creative universities – on July 28).

According to the education department of the regional executive committee, 5,496 applicants are planned to be enrolled in five state universities of the Vitebsk region for all forms of study, which is 332 fewer than last year. There are 2,606 state-funded places (full-time and part-time).

As before, there will be an additional enrollment for vacant state-funded places for full-time and part-time study – in most universities, it will take place from July 26 to 28. By July 25, all information on the availability of additional enrollment places should be posted on the websites of educational institutions. The acceptance of documents for paid study for applicants who are not taking internal entrance examinations is carried out from July 8 to August 1, and enrollment is until August 4.

According to the Ministry of Education, this year it is planned to admit more than 63.7 thousand applicants to universities in the country, 40.2 thousand to secondary vocational schools, and 32.6 thousand to vocational schools.

In the Vitebsk region, the admission campaign in vocational education institutions started on June 15, in secondary specialized education institutions – on July 15, and will continue until the end of August. It is planned to enroll about 4,000 applicants in these educational institutions for state-funded places.
