Almost 580 utility property objects were put into economic circulation in various ways in 2009 in the Vitebsk region, which amounted to 102.5% of the annual target. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the regional territorial fund "Vitebskoblimushchestvo". Last year, the fund announced 106 auctions for the sale of real estate objects and rights to conclude land lease agreements for property maintenance. At 36 successful auctions, 206 objects located on 114 land plots were sold for a total amount of Br5.4 billion, including 159 objects that acquired new owners at auctions with the establishment of the initial sale price at one basic unit (currently the basic unit is Br35 thousand). City and district executive committees sold 10 isolated non-residential premises and real estate objects at auctions for a total amount of almost Br2 billion. In addition, during two successful auctions, the right to conclude lease agreements for 4 land plots was sold for about Br1.5 million for the construction of roadside service facilities. -0-
