The access road to the multimodal complex in Bolbasovo will be commissioned in December
The republican access road from the R15 Krichev-Orsha-Lepel highway to the R76 Orsha-Shklov-Mogilev highway, which will connect republican highways with a large multimodal industrial and logistics center under construction in the village of Bolbasovo (Vitebsk region), is planned to be commissioned in December 2019. This was reported by the press service of the State Property Committee.
The road is being built according to Category II parameters with a cement concrete pavement and a single-axle load of 11.5 tons. Its length will be slightly over 12.1 km. The standard construction period for the facility is 26 months.
As of July 1, the construction readiness is 66%. Earthworks for embankment construction and excavation, and pipe installation have been completed, and leveling and reinforcement work is underway. The construction of supports and the installation of beams on bridges and overpasses across the railway have been completed. The bridge deck is being arranged and the abutments are being reinforced. In total, three bridges will be built at the site: over the Adrov River with a length of 99.85 m, over the Kholostovka River with a length of 40.2 m, and over the Klyuchnikova River with a length of 36.8 m. The length of the overpass across the railway will be 81.95 m. To protect against traffic noise, noise barriers with a total length of 132 m will be installed in the villages of Lomachino and Nizhnyaya Verovisha.
