Political parties and public associations must inform the justice authorities about their activities by March 1

February 24, Minsk /Corr. BELTA/. Political parties and public associations must submit information about their activities to the justice authorities of Belarus by March 1. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Ministry of Justice. The Ministry of Justice recalled that in accordance with the requirements of Part 6 of Article 27 of the Law "On Political Parties" and Part 6 of Article 24 of the Law "On Public Associations", political parties and public associations (international, republican, local), their unions (associations) must annually submit information about their activities to the Ministry of Justice of Belarus, the main justice departments of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee by March 1. In particular, this includes information on the continuation of their activities, indicating the location of the governing body; lists of members of the elected bodies of the political party, public association, their union (association), indicating the surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth, citizenship, place of residence and home phone number, place of work (study) and work phone number, position in these elected bodies and the date of election of each member, with attached relevant protocols. It is also necessary to provide information on the number of members of the political party, public association, its organizational structures, the composition of the union (association) of the political party, public association; information on events held for statutory purposes by the political party, public association, their union (association) during the year. The organizational structure of a political party, in accordance with the requirements of Part 7 of Article 27 of the Law "On Political Parties", must annually submit information by March 1 on the continuation of its activities, indicating the location of the governing body; lists of members of the elected bodies of the organizational structure, indicating the surname, first name, patronymic, date of birth, citizenship, place of residence and home phone number, place of work (study) and work phone number, position in these elected bodies and the date of election of each member, with attached relevant protocols; information on the number of members of the organizational structure; information on events held for statutory purposes by the organizational structure during the year.
