March 2, Minsk / Anna Kot - BELTA /. Polotsk-Steklovokno OJSC increased the volume of products delivered to customers on a "door-to-door" basis by 8-10% last year. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by Alexander Krasko, Head of the Marketing Department of the joint-stock company. The interlocutor noted that the enterprise supplies goods to more than 40 countries worldwide and, along with product quality, pays close attention to additional services, such as direct delivery of products to the customer. The share of products shipped on DDU, CPT, CIF, DAF, FAS, FOB terms (delivery basis in accordance with Incoterms 2000) exceeds 70%. Thus, customers receive about 30% of the total sales volume through self-pickup on FCA-Polotsk terms. This year, the company will focus on further increasing the volume of products sold on a "door-to-door" delivery basis. According to Alexander Krasko, solving this issue is impossible without close cooperation with transport and forwarding companies. Cooperation with Beltekhnoservice TUP will also be expanded for the transportation of consolidated cargo to Italy, France, Spain, Germany, and Poland. Approximately three more transport companies, with which cooperation had not been established, have taken on the proposed transportation routes for consideration and the preparation of price proposals.
