Polotsk border guards have begun selecting conscripts for active military service
According to the official representative of the Polotsk Border Detachment, Lieutenant Colonel Denis Glebko, today modern complex weapon and equipment systems requiring in-depth knowledge are used in the protection of the State Border of Belarus. Qualified specialists with excellent command of various specialties and high physical and moral-psychological training are needed for service on the border.
– At the end of May, young men who have passed a rigorous selection process will arrive at the Polotsk Border Detachment, where, based at the training center, they will master the program of the initial military training course for 10 days before taking the military oath, – says Denis Glebko.
Recruits will also undergo training in the specialty "border guard inspector". For a month, they will study the basics of border service and undergo internships in units directly protecting the State Border of Belarus. After that, they will be assigned to units in accordance with their qualifications.
During the training period, each cadet will acquire the necessary skills in performing border service duties, working with technical means of border protection, master weapons, and skills in conducting military reconnaissance and hand-to-hand combat.
